Niall Norton, Chief Executive Officer
Niall Norton joined us in March 2004. Mr. Norton has served as our chief executive officer since September 2006 and has served on our Board since August 2006. Between 2004 and 2006, Mr. Norton served as our chief financial officer. Prior to joining us, he served as chief financial officer and corporate secretary of O2 Ireland, the Irish operations of O2 Group Telecommunications PLC, from 2001 to 2004. Mr. Norton serves as a director of Poppies Restaurants Limited, a family restaurant business, and Clever Communications Limited, a mobile virtual network operator. Mr. Norton holds a B.C. degree in Commerce from University College Dublin and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
Joe Hogan, Founder, Chief Technology Officer and Vice President Openet Labs & IP Management
Joe Hogan has served as our chief technology officer since July 1999 when he founded the company and has served on our Board since December 2002. Mr. Hogan currently runs our Labs group and our Intellectual Property Management group. Prior to joining us, Mr. Hogan served as a senior architect at Sun Microsystems, Inc., from 1993 to 1998. Mr. Hogan holds a B.S. in Computer Applications from Dublin City University.
Eimer McGovern, Chief Finance Officer
Eimer McGovern has served as our chief financial officer since July 2010. Prior to joining us, Ms. McGovern served as finance director of The Electric Paper Company Limited, or EP, a developer and supplier of educational products focused on the computer literacy market, from 2001 to 2003 and then served as chief financial officer of MindLeaders ThirdForce plc, a developer of educational software, following its acquisition of EP from 2003 to 2010. Ms. McGovern is a chartered accountant and held various accounting positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1984 to 1989. Ms. McGovern holds an honors degree in Commerce from University College Dublin, Ireland.
Juliana Su, Chief Operating Officer
Juliana Su joined us in 2002 and has most recently served as our chief operations officer since April 2011. Prior to this, Ms. Su held a number of positions with us, including global vice president, services and vice president, services Americas. Prior to joining us, Ms. Su served as program manager of Consulting Services for Kenan Systems Corporation, a provider of billing, order processing and customer analysis software, from 1997 to 1999, and, later as practice director of consulting services of Lucent Technologies and subsequently, CSG Systems International Inc., from 1999 to 2002. Ms. Su holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado.
Apollo Guy, Global Vice President, Business & Market Development
Apollo Guy joined us in 2006 and has most recently served as our global vice president of business and market development since January 2009. Prior to this, Mr. Guy held a number of positions with us, including global vice president of alliances and vice president of sales, Americas. Prior to joining us, Mr. Guy held senior management positions at Rogers Communications, Inc. from 1992 to 1995, Bell Canada from 1995 to 1998, CSG Systems International, Inc., a provider of business support solutions and serves to communication service providers, from 2003 to 2006, Lemur Networks, Inc., a provider of standards-based, delivery and management of dynamic IP services for broadband service providers, from 2001 to 2003 and Futureway Communications, Inc., a provider of telecommunications and high-speed Internet services from 1998 to 2001. Mr. Guy holds a B.B.A. in Marketing and Finance from Simon Fraser University and is a member of the Society of Cable Television Engineers.
Philip Hogan, Global Vice President, Sales and Services
Philip Hogan joined us in 1999 and has most recently served as our global vice president of sales and services since April 2011. Prior to this, Mr. Hogan served as our global vice president of sales from 2009 to 2011 and has held a number of positions with us, including vice president of alliances. Prior to joining us, Mr. Hogan held various senior management positions at Euristix Ltd., a specialist analytics and risk management firm. Mr. Hogan holds a B.S. in Computer Applications from Dublin City University.
Shane O'Flynn, Global Vice President Engineering
Shane O’Flynn joined us in 2001 and has most recently served as our global vice president, engineering since April 2011. Prior to this, Mr. O’Flynn has held a number of positions with us, including global vice president, delivery engineering, vice president, managed services and support, and vice president, product management. Mr. O’Flynn holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Psychology from University College Dublin.
Niall Byrne , Global Vice President, Customer Production Systems Engineering and Support
Niall Byrne joined us in 2004 and has most recently served as our global vice president, customer production systems engineering and support since April 2011. Prior to this, Mr. Byrne has held a number of positions with us, including vice president, product development and software development manager. Mr. Byrne holds a B.S. in Science from University College Dublin and M.S. in Information Technology from University College Galway.
